A potential developer has emerged to transform Altamonte Springs’ municipal complex into a mixed-use destination.
Maitland-based Equinox Development Properties Inc. responded to Altamonte Springs’ request for proposals to build the mixed-use space containing new public buildings, including a new city hall. The development idea comes as the city’s buildings age and new sources of revenue are sought to avoid passing on increasing costs to taxpayers.
