Unicorp National Developments Inc., one of the most prominent Orlando-based developers, is expanding its $200 million Daytona Beach project with plans to build a grocery store and other retail.
The developer is under contract for another 9.9 acres joining the 150 acres it’s already under contract for in the area, referred to as Tomoka, for a three-phase development near Interstate 95 and LPGA Boulevard. The 9.9-acre deal, reportedly for roughly $3 million, or $303,000 an acre, is expected to close during first-quarter 2019.
