A Publix-anchored commercial development in Horizon West, one of the fastest-growing residential areas in Florida, is set to get bigger.
Winter Garden-based Boyd Development Corp. is seeking approvals for up to 92,911 square feet of additional space on vacant land in its commercial center at 5400 Hamlin Groves Trail, according to Orange County documents. It’s part of larger expansion plans near the Publix Super Market at Hamlin Cove, where Boyd Development plans to add more than 300,000 square feet of mixed-use buildings to its town center southeast of New Independence Parkway and Hamlin Groves.
