First look: See new food hall in $500M Packing District

A 22,400-square-foot food hall is coming to the Packing District.

Nonprofit Dr. Phillips Charities has unveiled plans for the food hall on the southeast corner of Princeton Street and Orange Blossom Trail. It’ll be located in the Great Southern Box Co. building, which dates back to the 1930s and served as an orange crate manufacturing facility. Orlando-based Dap Design LLC is the project’s architect. A general contractor hasn’t been selected.
