A Phoenix-based niche grocery chain may be headed to Winter Garden.
Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. (Nasdaq: SFM) is in discussions to open a new location southwest of Colonial Drive and Daniels Road, according to real estate sources. It would be the fourth Sprouts store in Central Florida.
Sprouts spokeswoman Kalia Pang said the grocery chain would be in touch if they have news in the area in the future. Gavin Walsh — a broker with Atlanta-based The Shopping Center Group, which is handling leasing for the site at 1200 Daniels Road — declined to comment due to confidentiality agreements. The grocer’s opening could happen as soon as early 2021.
