Apartments, retail projects to rise in trendy Mills 50 district

Nick Jones wants to bring new life to a 53-year-old retail building near downtown Orlando. 

His company, Red Bell Partners LLC, recently purchased a 5,124-square-foot building at 1336 N. Mills Ave. for roughly $1.1 million on July 28 through entity 1336 Mills LLC. The reason? To convert the building into a bar, restaurant or another use. 

“We obviously want something that complements the hip Mills 50 vibe,” Jones said.
