Downtown Orlando’s highly anticipated Taco Bell Cantina opens for takeout only, providing a boost for nearby retail

It’s finally here. 

Taco Bell Cantina — a subsidiary of Louisville, Kentucky-based Yum! Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM) — opened its doors on its highly anticipated downtown location at 1 S. Orange Ave. on Jan. 27 for takeout only, a company representative told Orlando Business Journal. The opening was nearly two years to the day after Taco Bell signed its lease for the 2,409-square-foot location, which faced pandemic-related delays.
