CoverGirl’s brick-and-mortar store boosts rebranding

Makeup giant COVERGIRL opened its first brick-and-mortar retail store on Black Friday in New York’s Times Square, encouraging shoppers to use technology to interact with all 1,000-plus products offered by the iconic brand that’s normally found on the shelves of mass distributors like CVS, Walgreens and Walmart.  

The retail store is an experiential interpretation of COVERGIRL’s “I am what I make up” brand philosophy, inspiring shoppers to use makeup as a tool for self-expression and personal transformation, the company said.
