Presidente Supermarket — one of the largest Hispanic-owned grocers in the U.S. — expects to open its next location near The Florida Mall.
The Miami-based grocer signed a lease this month to occupy the former 42,112-square-foot Publix space at 7653 Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando Business Journal has learned. The company also created on April 14 an entity Presidente Supermarket No. 55 Inc. with an address matching the shuttered Publix, according state of Florida records. It will be the fourth Presidente Supermarket in the Orlando area.
