The roster’s getting bigger for the Orlando Magic’s construction team on its planned mixed-use complex adjacent the Amway Center.
The Magic will team up with development partner Anil Kumar on the $500 million-plus, mixed-use project called Orlando Sports & Entertainment District, team spokesman Joel Glass told Orlando Business Journal. More information about Kumar wasn’t immediately known, and it’s unclear if Kumar has invested in a real estate project in Central Florida.
It’s the first time a development partner has been named for the proposed development in the Parramore neighborhood. “We look forward to sharing more details as we make further progress with the project,” Glass said.
