Michael Jordan’s son seeks incentives for buildout of downtown retail space

Marcus Jordan — the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan and a former University of Central Florida basketball player — is seeking city incentives for the buildout of a downtown retail space.

He is requesting roughly $100,000 in incentives to build out a 2,080-square-foot space at 50 S. Rosalind Ave. The downtown space in the ground level of luxury apartment tower Modera Central will house The Trophy Room, which formerly was at Disney Springs until it closed in April 2019.
