At least three retail tenants are confirmed for Orlando-based Unicorp National Developments Inc.’s $1 billion O-Town West project near Walt Disney World, President Chuck Whittall told Orlando Business Journal.
The 200-acre development will feature shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, a thrill ride, roughly 1,600 apartments and a $40 million office tower that will house the future Unicorp headquarters.
The project is expected to break ground Aug. 29 immediately after Whittall closes on a roughly $50 million, 80-acre parcel purchase slated to be home to a large part of O-Town West. Longtime land broker Daryl Carter of Orlando-based Maury L. Carter & Associates Inc. is the seller.
